Fashion With a Purpose – Volume 2

Guest post featuring Crystal Russel visionary and co-founder of up and coming non-profit organization US “all of us matter”

These fashion post are not your typical “look at what I am wearing, covet it, and buy it at any cost.” I know the drill of many fashion blogs, although well-meaning, it makes the reader want the bloggers life and wardrobe. I have teamed up with the very talented Savanna Dutcher to bring to you fashion posts infused with advocacy for social justice, dressing to fit who you are and what you believe, and as a result you will be your own masterpiece. I am in no way advising anyone to go out and buy whatever the mall has to offer with the latest trends and ads, telling you these clothes will make you feel happy. I am not saying go buy a cheap thrill of a $20.00 shirt to wear a few times and then toss. I am, however, encouraging you to dress with a purpose and be a conscious consumer. I want you to question everything. Where am I shopping? Who made my clothes? What are the ethics of this very business who I am supporting with my money? These blog post are going to show you how to do just that in practical ways. So, join me on this journey of dressing with a purpose!

Through God’s Grace,

Crystal
